Why we only take screenshots and text!
📄 Why We Only Accept Images (Not Videos) and Don’t Use Voice Chats
At Safeguard Systems (SGS), we take reports, appeals, and evidence submission very seriously. To maintain fairness, accuracy, and full accountability, we enforce strict evidence standards. This means:
Only Full, Uncropped Screenshots Are Accepted
We will only accept full-screen screenshots that clearly show your entire screen including the taskbar with time and date.
Cropped, edited, or manipulated screenshots are automatically rejected. We don’t care if you “just cut out the extra space”—if it doesn’t show the whole screen, it’s worthless to us. This is non-negotiable.
This standard exists to prevent cherry-picked, misleading, or tampered submissions. If your evidence can’t stand as-is in a raw, unedited screenshot, then it won’t stand here either.
All Evidence Must Be Logged
Every step of your report or appeal is logged within your ticket. This includes message history, timestamps, and any actions taken by staff or users. Keeping everything written ensures there’s no “he said, she said.”
Message Edits and Deletions Are Logged
Even if you try to edit or delete messages, our system captures both the before and after. Nothing gets hidden. Nothing gets “cleaned up.” If it happened, we’ll see it.
Screenshots Beat Videos Every Time
Screenshots are easier to timestamp, reference, and archive inside ticket logs.
Videos can be altered, cut, or spliced—screenshots leave far less room for excuses or trickery.
No Voice Chats, Period
We do not join VCs for evidence or appeals. Voice calls cannot be properly logged, reviewed, or archived in a ticket.
Everything must stay written and documented. This protects you and us by leaving a clear, reviewable record.
⚠️ Bottom Line: If you send in cropped, edited, or incomplete screenshots, they will be rejected without discussion. No exceptions. If you can’t provide a proper full-screen screenshot with your taskbar, time, and date visible, don’t bother submitting—it will only waste everyone’s time.
These rules aren’t “extra picky.” They exist because our job is to protect the integrity of SGS, not bend over backwards for sloppy evidence. If you want your case taken seriously, follow the rules and submit proper, verifiable screenshots.
